The first in a new series called Skippers And Their Boats. Episode 1 is on The Spitfire and her skipper Rowan Davies.

The Spitfire was one of the last boats to be built and launched in Dunbar, hitting the water in May 1970, which makes her 50 years old this year.

Rowan is the third generation of the Davies family to skipper The Spitfire and was also the UK's Young Fisherman of the Year in 2022.

Barry has a chat with Rowan about the Spitfire, while Jeff spent a day out at sea to capture some footage of the crew working.
